In the News!
Burnet CISD will be closed December 22nd through January 2nd. Classes will resume on Monday, January 5, 2015. Wishing each of you a safe and joyous holiday season.
On Tuesday, December 9th, BCISD hosted a reception to honor the Franklin I Fickett Foundation. Students and teachers gathered to present information about the AVID program and First Lego League. We truly believe that Frank Fickett would be extremely pleased with the impact both programs have had on the District and the amount of lives that have been touched due to the generous contribution of the Foundation. Representing the Fickett Foundation were Ed Small and his wife Pam, and Cherity Lambright, Fannie Sheppard, and Jay Gibson. AVID student presenters pictured above with Mr. Small are Cody Baladez, Dustin Baladez, Chris Mercado, Victoria Baladez, and Gabby Mejia.
